Riads, Camp Days and Signature Evenings

In the cities
A private riad is the usual base, a walled house with a courtyard, staff and no shared lobby. In Fes the good ones sit deep in the medina, close enough to walk to the tanneries and the artisan quarters.
- Courtyard riads with staff
- Walking distance to the medinas
- Rooftop dinners overlooking the city

Between them
The drive between cities is where a private car earns its place. Atlas kasbahs with gardens, the palm oasis at Skoura and the Dades gorges sit along routes that a coach tour skips entirely.
- Kasbah stays with gardens
- Palm oases at Skoura and Taliouine
- Dades and Todra gorges

The signature evening
Most guests want one memorable dinner. That usually means a rooftop over the medina, a private chef at the riad, or dinner in camp with the dunes going dark beyond the table.
- Rooftop dinner over the medina
- Private chef at your riad
- Dinner in a private desert camp

The desert night
A night at a premium camp is the part most people remember. En-suite tents, proper beds and a private terrace, with the drive out arranged so you arrive before sunset rather than after dark.
- En-suite tents with private terraces
- Arrive before sunset
- Private camp option
Practical Details
What people ask before committing to a private trip.
For spring and autumn, the busiest windows, the good riads and premium desert camps fill three to four months out. Summer and mid-winter are more forgiving, and a few weeks is often enough. If your dates are fixed around a school holiday, earlier is better.
It is mostly private space and unhurried timing rather than gold taps. You get a car and driver for the whole trip instead of shared transfers, one planner who is accountable, and accommodation chosen for quiet and service. The difference shows up in the middle of the trip, not in the photographs.
Yes. Families usually want shorter driving days, a pool at some stops and earlier dinners. We plan the route so the longest drives are broken up, and pick riads with family rooms and staff used to children.
It is the single most popular add-on we arrange, and it works best on your first or last night, either as a soft landing after a long flight or a proper finish. For a group of four or more it often costs little more than a good restaurant, and you eat at your own table.
Tell us a range and we build to it rather than quoting a package. The same itinerary can be run with a courtyard riad or a grand one, a standard camp or a private one. We will say plainly which part of a trip the extra money actually improves.
