1st day: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fez
Upon arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, you will meet your private driver and transfer to your Casablanca hotel. Depending on time, you can visit the gorgeous Mosque of Hassan, one of the largest Mosques in the world. Its handcrafted beauty is breathtaking. Afterwards, we drive towards the capital of the kingdom Rabat to visit Med V Mausoleum and Hassan tower. After, we continue towards Meknes and enter through the large monumental gate “Bab Mansour” to visit Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. The mausoleum is one of the most impressive buildings in the city. Our tour continues into the Roman ruined town of Volubilis for a visit. End the day in the oldest city in Morocco Fez. Dinner and night in a Riad.
2nd day: A guided Tour to Fez
After breakfast you will begin your guided tour of the medina, one of the world’s largest walled cities. You will explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruit, mounds of spices, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other art objects of Morocco. A visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries, and potters. For lunch you will eat in a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch you will complete the tour and return to your hotel for the evening. Overnight at the Riad.
3rd day: Fez – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud
After an early breakfast you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the Kasbah in Erfoud, a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the drive. Dinner will be served at the Kasbah.
4th day: Erfoud – Todra gorges – Rose valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
After breakfast at the Kasbah hotel, you set out behind the High Atlas Mountains on route to the Todra Gorges. You will take a walk up in the towering Todra Gorges (600 feet high). The picturesque river valleys make for a beautiful journey towards the southeast of Morocco. The tour continues to discover Dades valley and the Valley of roses, Kelaa M’Gouna a center of Moroccan roses and rose products. We continue the trip via the road of One Thousand Kasbahs, passing the Skoura palm oasis to Ouarzazate. Night with dinner in a Riad.
