1st day: Arrival to Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be met and transferred in a comfortable van to your Marrakech hotel, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
2nd day: A Guided Tour of Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the magnificent Koutoubia, the Palace of the Bahia, the Medrassa Ben Yousef and many other historical sites. After lunch, you will continue with the tour to the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, the vibrant center of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of Majorelle gardens and the souks lined with intricately woven fabrics and many other arts and crafts of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the hotel.
3rd day: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Agafay
Today we drive towards the amazing Atlas Mountains. This trip offers a multicolored landscape. After leaving Marrakech, you will drive through the green orchards of Marrakech. You will be travelling through Berber villages and rainbow colored Mountains and valleys offering a magnificent outlook. We arrive to the village of Imlil where you will enjoy a local lunch in a Berber family house before we continue our trip towards the majestic desert of Agafay where you will have a celestial overnight in a nice atmosphere with the gleaming stars and the tranquility of the desert. Dinner included and possibly to have a camel ride or a Quad bike.
4th day: Agafay – Essaouira
Today we drive towards the coastal city of Essaouira, an interesting fishing town with Portuguese ramparts and white walls surrounding the city. One of main Morocco’s export goods from here are wooden objects made from thuja tree roots; you will admire the craftsmen art work. Lunch will be at a sea fruit Restaurant. Then, you have a free afternoon to have a walk by the Atlantic beach. Dinner and night in a hotel or Riad.
5th day: A day in Essaouira
Today is a day to relax in Essaouira. You will have the opportunity to spend more time in this small town to explore the Medina as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with beautiful arts and crafts to be found, including objects carved out of local Thuya wood. You will enjoy a mint tea in one of the local cafés and explore the Atlantic-facing sandy beach. Overnight at the hotel.
