1st day: Arrival to Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport, you will be met and transferred in a comfortable van to your hotel, where you will check in and relax for the afternoon. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
2nd day: Guided tour of Marrakech
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have a guided tour of Marrakech, the southern pearl of Morocco. You will discover the magnificent Koutoubia, the Bahia Palace, the Medrassa Ben Yousef and many other historical sites. After lunch, you will continue with the tour to the famous Djemaa el-Fna square, it is the heart of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of Majorelle gardens and the souks lined with intricately woven fabrics and many other arts and crafts of Morocco. Dinner will be served in the hotel.
3rd day: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
Breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Casablanca through the towns and landscapes of interest in a land of picturesque green lanes, dotted ideal for a pleasant wooded hills. Upon arrival, you will enjoy the main sites of the economic capital, mainly the magnificent mosque of Hassan II, the main square of Mohamed V and stroll along the corniche of the city. After lunch, we continue towards the capital Rabat to explore its main sites: The ornamented mausoleum of Mohamed V and Hassan II. You will also reach the old Oudayyas Kasbah at the side of Bou Regreg River. This fortification was built as a military defense in the 12th century by the Almohads dynasty. The guided tour will go behind to early ages by visiting the Roman Chellah ruins as a necropolis at the outskirts of Rabat. Overnight with dinner at the hotel of Riad.
4th day: Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
After breakfast, we head towards Meknes, the fourth of Morocco’s imperial cities and the 17th century heritage where we will stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina. Afterwards, we will visit Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail’s shrine. We continue the journey through the fertile agricultural hills to the impressive Roman ruins of Volubilis, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the best preserved Roman ruins in Northern Africa. The trip will continue towards the medieval city of Fes. Check in at the hotel or Riad for the night and dinner.
5th day: Fez Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast, you will enjoy a guided tour of the medieval city of Fez. This city once was the capital and one of the country’s four imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a big wall, where there are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez-Jdid or the new Fes, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the Ville Nouvelle the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation. Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its medina is the largest in the world. Among its narrow streets and allies, we have the oldest university in the world; The University of Al-Karaouine. This University is still operating nowadays. At the end of the day the driver will drop you off at your hotel/riad for the night in Fez.
