1st day: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Telouet – Ouarzazate.
Your trip starts from Marrakech to Ouarzazate passing by the High Atlas Mountains and visiting Kasbah Telouet. Along with enjoying the local people and wonderful places, and having a delicious lunch in a roadside restaurant. Thereafter, the journey continues to the Kasbah of Ait Ben haddou through many tiny villages and the river of Telouet. You will then spend the night in Ouarzazate.
2nd day: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley.
After breakfast, the road takes us to Dades Valley by visiting Kasbah Amridil in Skoura then we cross the valley of roses (Kalaa M’gouna) gets Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Dades Valley
3rd day: Boulmane Dades – Merzouga
The following morning we first have a nice breakfast and leave for the Todra Gorge. The Todra Gorge is simply jaw-dropping and has stunning scenery that makes you question why this has not been listed as a wonder of the world. After lunch we continue to Merzouga, one of the most stunning deserts in Morocco, and have a camel ride for about one hour and half. The sunset from the top of the dunes is spectacular (250m). You spend the night in a desert camp well-equipped.
4th day: Merzouga – Rissani –Alnif – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Agdez
After breakfast and camel ride of an hour and half, we start our way to Agdez through Rissani, the origin of the Alaouite dynasty reigning Morocco. We cross a rocky desert and the Berber villages of Alnif, through the Draa valley (the largest one in Morocco ) to Agdez where there are the biggest palm trees in Morocco. There is a chance to walk one hour and half to the heart of the palmeraie, see local farmers and see the village of Taliouine or Tamnougalte. (Overnight in Agdez).
5th day: Agdz – Zagora – Tamegroute – Erg Chegaga
After breakfast, we leave Agdez, the heart of the Draa valley to Erg Chegaga via Zagora. We continue towards the doorway to the Sahara Desert –M’hamid. We visit the original town of the 16th-century dynasty Tamegroute and the old Koranic library and visit the green pottery area. We arrive at the Saharan village of M’hamid before taking the off-road track to Erg Chegaga. We ride the camels into the desert to see the sunset on top of the dunes. We will have a traditional dinner, drink delicious mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert. The night will be in a traditional nomad tent.
