Day 01 :
Day 1: Marrakech – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Draa Valley – Zagora

Your adventure begins early in Marrakech, where your driver picks you up in a comfortable 4x4. Soon after, the road leads you into the majestic High Atlas Mountains. As you cross the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass, you’ll notice Berber villages clinging to the hillsides and landscapes changing at every turn.

Next, you’ll visit Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its mud-brick kasbahs and film history. After exploring the ksar and enjoying lunch, the journey continues through Ouarzazate — the “Hollywood of Africa” — where movie studios and kasbahs line the route.

Then, you’ll cross into the Draa Valley, a ribbon of palm groves stretching as far as the eye can see. The valley’s kasbahs, gardens, and traditional villages bring the desert spirit alive. By evening, you arrive in Zagora, where the desert breeze welcomes you for your first night.

Day 02 :
Day 2: Zagora – Tamegroute – M’hamid – Erg Chigaga Desert Camp

After breakfast, the road continues deeper south. Your first stop is Tamegroute, a small village known for its ancient Quranic library and traditional green pottery workshops. Walking through its alleys feels like stepping back in time.

Shortly after, you reach M’hamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the Sahara where paved roads end and sandy tracks begin. Here, you’ll sip tea with nomadic families and hear stories of desert life before continuing to the vast dunes of Erg Chigaga.

Arriving at the dunes is an unforgettable moment. You’ll ride camels into the golden sand as the sun sets over the horizon. Later, a warm dinner awaits at your luxury desert camp, followed by music by the fire under a sky full of stars. Finally, fall asleep in your tent surrounded by the silence of the Sahara.

Day 03 :
Day 3: Erg Chigaga – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Erg Chigaga — a breathtaking sight that paints the dunes in shades of gold and pink. After breakfast, the adventure continues across desert tracks toward the dry Lake Iriqui, where fossils and mirages add a mystical touch to the landscape.

Next, you’ll pass through Foum Zguid, where the road meets civilization again. Continuing north, a stop in Taznakht introduces you to Morocco’s “carpet capital,” famous for handwoven Berber rugs and tribal patterns.

Finally, the journey winds back through Ouarzazate and the Atlas Mountains, returning to Marrakech by evening, filled with new memories, desert stories, and photographs that will last a lifetime.
