Day 01 :
Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Rose Valley – Dades

Your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes begins with an early pick-up from your hotel or the airport in Marrakech. Then, your journey takes you through the High Atlas Mountains and the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, several scenic stops allow you to admire incredible landscapes and take breathtaking photos.

Next, visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its traditional architecture. Many movies and series were filmed here, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones. After exploring the kasbah, continue to Ouarzazate, also known as the “Gateway to the Desert.” You may visit the Atlas Studios to discover where famous films were produced.

Then, head toward the fragrant Rose Valley, where locals celebrate the annual Rose Festival every May. Finally, continue to Boumalne Dades for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 02 :
Dades – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, admire the dramatic landscapes of Dades Valley before moving on to the stunning Todra Gorge. The tall, red cliffs of this natural canyon make it an ideal place for a gentle walk, photos, and appreciating the beauty of Morocco’s nature.

After lunchtime, continue your journey through desert scenery until you reach Merzouga — the gateway to the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Here, switch to camels and ride through the soft sand as the sun begins to set, painting the dunes in golden shades.

Once you arrive at your luxury desert camp, enjoy Berber drumming around the fire under a sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight in the camp.

Day 03 :
Exploring Merzouga – Nomads – Khamlia – Palm Groves – Merzouga Lake

Waking up early is highly recommended because sunrise in the Sahara is truly unforgettable. After breakfast, return on camels to meet your driver and begin exploring the Merzouga region. This area is full of unique sites including small desert villages, wild lakes, mineral mines, and beautiful oases.

Your first stop is an old kohl mine hidden between desert hills. After that, visit a nomad family living in a woven tent and enjoy Berber tea while learning about their traditional way of life.

Then, head to Khamlia village, home of the Gnaoua people originally from Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Enjoy their spiritual music and rhythmic dances. After lunch, walk through a peaceful palm grove before visiting Merzouga’s seasonal lake — a popular stop for migratory birds such as flamingos.

Dinner and overnight in a hotel near Merzouga.

Day 04 :
Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

On the last day of your 4 days tour from Marrakech to Fes, leave the Sahara behind and visit the town of Rissani, the former capital of Tafilalet. Its traditional souk is one of the liveliest in the region, especially on market days.

Next, head to Erfoud to explore a workshop that produces marble filled with ancient fossils — a unique specialty of the area. Then, continue along the Ziz River, stopping for a panoramic view over the lush oasis below.

After lunch in Midelt, drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains until reaching the cedar forest, home to playful Barbary macaques. Feel free to take photos or feed them gently.

Then, visit Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” thanks to its alpine-style architecture and snowy winters. Finally, continue your journey to Fes, where we drop you off at your accommodation or the airport.
