Itinerary
Your journey begins with a warm welcome in Casablanca. After meeting your friendly driver-guide, we’ll set off toward the magical town of Chefchaouen, tucked in the Rif Mountains.
As you wander its famous blue-painted alleys, you’ll quickly see why this place feels like stepping into a dream. The scent of fresh bread drifts from small bakeries, shopkeepers greet you with warm smiles, and every corner is a photo opportunity. Later, enjoy a peaceful evening soaking up the calm atmosphere before resting in your charming riad.
After breakfast, we head toward Fes, Morocco’s cultural heartbeat. Upon arrival, your local guide will take you deep into the medieval medina — a labyrinth of narrow streets where donkeys carry goods and artisans hammer copper by hand.
You’ll pass vibrant souks, visit the colorful tanneries, and maybe pause for mint tea at a rooftop café overlooking the city. The day ends in a traditional riad, where the buzz of the medina fades into the background.
This is the day the desert calls. Leaving Fes behind, we pass through Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style houses. Soon, cedar forests appear, home to playful Barbary macaques.
The road then winds through the Middle Atlas Mountains and into the lush Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves. By afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, where camels await to take you across the glowing dunes of Erg Chebbi. After a magical sunset, you’ll settle into a luxury desert camp for dinner, music by the fire, and a night under a sky full of stars.
Rise early for a sunrise you’ll never forget — the dunes shift from gold to fiery orange as the first light appears. After breakfast, the adventure continues toward Rissani, famous for its traditional market.
Next, we explore Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise dramatically on both sides of a clear river. Finally, the road curves into Dades Valley, with its surreal rock formations known as “Monkey Fingers.” Here, you’ll spend a peaceful night surrounded by nature.
On your final day, we drive to Ouarzazate, nicknamed the “Hollywood of Africa.” Film lovers can visit Atlas Studios before continuing to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah that has starred in countless movies and TV shows.
After exploring its ancient alleyways, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. By late afternoon, we arrive in Marrakech, where your Morocco 5 day itinerary comes to a memorable close.
